Recently, TIANWANG has developed and customized ignition coil for electric surfboards for the customer. The ignition coil has passed the test and runs smoothly on a two-stroke gasoline engine. Let me briefly introduce this 12V high voltage ignition coil.

Principle: The principle of the electric surfboard ignition coil is that the inverter circuit works after it is energized, and high frequency and high voltage is generated to act on the discharge electrode to generate sparks to ignite the combustible gas.

The ignition coil for 2-stroke gasoline engine transformer is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction transformer, but the working method of 12v high voltage ignition coil is different from that of ordinary transformers. The working frequency of ordinary transformers is fixed at 50Hz, also known as power frequency transformers, and transformers work continuously. The ignition coil is intermittent and works in the form of pulses, which can be regarded as the pulse transformer. Pulse ignition coils repeatedly store and release electrical energy at different frequencies according to different engine speeds.

Pulse ignition coils generally have two sets of coils, primary coil and secondary coil. The ignition coil converts the electricity from the battery into high voltage, and then the gasoline engine can be ignited. The pulse ignition coil can turn the low voltage of the electric surfboard into a high voltage, and the turns ratio of the primary coil is larger than that of the secondary coil.

 

 

Working process: When the ignition system switch device turns on the primary coil (low voltage), the current passes through the low voltage coil to magnetize the iron core, and a strong magnetic field is generated around it, and the iron core stores the magnetic field energy; When the circuit is disconnected, the magnetic field of the primary coil disappears instantly, the iron core is demagnetized, and the magnetic field lines rapidly shrink to cut the secondary coil (high voltage). The secondary coil senses a very high voltage, which is eventually sent to the spark plug to flash over and ignite the flammable gasoline.
